Joel's interests
and experience
have led him in numerous
directions beyond composing, all
of which reflect a very 'public' side of his personality. Ranging
from artistic-directing several concert series to leading educational/outreach
programs. . . from team-editing several premier publications
to writing program notes and reviews. . . from serving as a
faculty member at prestigious Universities to speaking to a
variety of audiences. . . Joel has enjoyed a wide scope of interactive,
curatorial work. And, in the 'present and future tenses'. .
. he welcomes the opportunity to continue in this direction.
